Hurray. At least I hope so. I have not been a fan of the Chili character at all. I was not happy when the Leslie Shay character was removed from the show. I really liked that character and I liked the interactions that she had with her paramedic partners as well as the rest of the fire station crew. Then they decided to bring in this Chili character last year. For some reason, I just never really felt that she fit into the show. I have been most unhappy with the whole story line they have had with her lately. It went on too long. I did not really care about her or what was going on with her. I found the character to be annoying and I just kept hoping that they would get rid of her. I am hoping that she is now gone for good. At the end of this episode they fired her. I say, good riddance!

The rest of the episode was okay. Not one of the best ones. I was not that into the whole boxing match. The emergencies that they were called to were not that interesting. I am wondering how having Casey run for Alderman is going to affect him both personally and his job as a firefighter. We shall see.
